In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five food and drink apps in Oman showed varied performance trends across weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period.

talabat: Food, grocery & more saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting from 9.6K in late September and dropping to 5K by mid-November. However, it rebounded to 8.3K by the last week of December. The app's weekly active users also showed some variation, peaking at 97.5K in late October and ending the year at around 89.3K.

KFC Oman experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads from 2.8K in late September to just 186 in mid-December, before a slight recovery to 791 by the end of the year. Active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 5.7K and decreasing to around 3K by the end of December.

McDonald’s - Non-US had a steady decline in weekly downloads, beginning with 2.1K in late September and falling to 325 by the end of December. Despite this, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 19.9K at the start and ending at approximately 15.8K.

Zomato: Food Delivery & Dining maintained a consistent performance in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging between 500 and 600 throughout the quarter. The app’s weekly active users showed a slight increase, starting from 9.1K in late September and reaching 9.8K by the end of December.

foodpanda: Food & Groceries displayed a stable trend in weekly downloads, fluctuating around 250 to 380 during the quarter. Its weekly active users also remained steady, starting at 7.1K and peaking at 8.1K in mid-November, before settling at 7.5K by the end of December.
